I can truly simpathize with you. I am at the same stage. It's going to be sweet when it is done, though.

If you are not using 3M brand SandBlaster sandpaper, you really should try it. It resists clogging on body filler better than anything I have ever used.
I have been using 60 for shaping, then 120 for blending.

I'll try it out... I'm using 50 grit GatorGrit for shaping which is doing a fair job but it does clog up when you first hit it. Once I get it blended in well I'm gonna hit it with the polyester filler to finish it off and then sand it down with a 250 for a final... Once its primed Ill sand it down again and hit any pits that i missed with the polyester one more time...
I'm soooo ready to get some color on this beast... I've decided to go with a HotRod Flatz One stage Sublime Green... Its a Low Luster paint that'll def. give it some pop...

man if you want to save yourself some work and don't mind spending $50 -$75 then I'd rough it with the 50 the shoot some high build primer called slicksand (sp) then block from there with 80 to 100 then wet sand.

that slicksand is some bad stuff...heck any surface primer will beat the stuff outa the spray can though

Yep, thats true Joseph. Slicksand will help make a body panel look like a sheet of glass.
