Had to run New Brake lines in the rear and along the frame in the rear... Old ones were rusted out and burst....
Got the front shocks in and torqued everything to spec up front also... All the rear components should be in by Wed... Still trying to figure out if I want to fab up a rear flip or cave in and buy the ORD or DIY flip...
alcan spring makes some good springs. If yer wantin to get the blocks out. I run em on my truck and bein custom they are made to yer specs cause their order form has alota Q's to make em for what you want to do with yer truck. Just some Gee Whiz info
Yeah, thought about that... Gonna have to air down the tires, but should roll out... Push come to shove, I might have to use some straps and compress the suspension....
I already got some skyjacker 4" leaf springs for the rear and gonna do a shackle flip so I dont have to use blocks. I think I've about talked my way to buying the DIY4X or ORD flip because I don't feel like going through the trouble of making my own and these have already been put to the test...
Put in the new cab mounts and got some other things done today.
I found out that my front driveshaft was hittin the trans mount... I took it out and fabbed a notch in it to allow for movement... Hopefully it's enough... Will eventually take it to the ramp over at Uzaree's shop (If he lets me!) to see if I have enough clearance... I'm not a veteran weldor so don't laugh ...
Now I've got to start boxin in the dern frame... I've already got the steel and have started makin templates...
I'm borrowing a MIG Welder from a buddy of mine tomorrow and gonna weld up all the hole in the body from random stuff like the old trim and such ...
