Mallcrawler's SAS...
This may be a stupid question, but what makes one the driver's side and the other passenger? Aren't they identical?

No, one has a steering wheel, the other dont!
Riding on in the mist of morning, no one dares to stand in his way, as if possessed by some distant calling, riding on through night and day....

1990 FSB 351, 6" lift, 35's, 3.55 l/s rear open front, E4OD, really cool snorkel, and some other expensive stuff.

Alright, me and Nismo just wrapped up a TON of progress. We completely stripped the front axle down to the bare housing. The axle shafts look really well to be as old as they are, the ring and pinion look good, they spin freely with no sounds or glitches. Everything is moving as planned. Keep checking back for pics and more progress.

Before you hack off the stock stuff off, did you know that the Rodeos come stock with a Dana 44 rear axle (8.5" ring gear) with 4.10s? The Rodeos with 31" tires came with 4.30 and the Izuzu Trooper came stock with a coil sprung Dana 44 with 4.56.

Good luck with the SAS conversion. I have a friend up here who owns a 93 Rodeo and he would be interested in your progress.
