It’s been some nice weather last few days.

The weather was good enough to roll out some resin, but I had to be sure to hit my window or it would be too cold.
I sanded down the plugs, vacuumed the floor and pre-cut my 1708. That's when I realized I was not going to have enough 1708. However, it was enough to make a serious dent in the project. So I hit my marks and did what I could. I ran out of cloth and resin at the same time. (9 gallons so far.)[Image: db72d207a43e2021e98541129d364f17.jpg][Image: 4c6ca409092b6710f7c29236aa6dc8c3.jpg][Image: c53098da1c210aa970f30ec3b15ba886.jpg][Image: 2d6b1e7a0ac2a4ee64f78383685c29a3.jpg][Image: 391411691d990a07d39bfbd3485c598c.jpg][Image: 20b5454d0591c893bd2ceb34dc0a6114.jpg][Image: c6a12ed9e3d7b1c5a8b52996c4a5a143.jpg][Image: 5acf0b609e626b82fe84c88ecf544def.jpg]

Boat progress:
Added strips to the top edge of the hull. When the cap goes back on, screws go through the cap, the hull, and into the strips to attach it all together.

With the cap upside down, I started cutting fiberglass from the underside of the cap to expose the rotted wood that needs to be replaced.[Image: 8e38d9d7fba50b32839fa9a96e3b5647.jpg][Image: 739850a2d0f01333c8bc37488ccbfe7e.jpg][Image: f2c535aa081a43326cde15047dd0b459.jpg][Image: efc91e07632819995d80ccd8a0db387b.jpg][Image: ac514855018eab4650b83334ec4362d4.jpg][Image: 2b0574c2ae67b3b0cbb644c6b4f95569.jpg][Image: 1345f75d3cd1cd37a9572393b0b728f8.jpg][Image: 1526b8cf64233f8c83c27bc25fa866f5.jpg][Image: 275d2691dab13d13b0a52db4e7d96a48.jpg][Image: 284996ce7fcaf211c0b0d7726539e03d.jpg][Image: 3108c08179f990531d8bc636b86a9e89.jpg][Image: c8820b000d98c81ba700fac5e4699faa.jpg]

RE: The Boat Project
The only good thing about totally rotten wood is that it comes out easily.

The back yard is soggy, so I didn't get much done.
I removed some more fiberglass to expose more rotten wood. This was a really complicated area.
The remaining wood literally washed away with a garden hose.[Image: a20427881e4f883803f29aaba9eb1928.jpg][Image: daddd15ec4f6fc5b25bb7506043dfcac.jpg][Image: 24df3924a4c0722d785bcfbbd9257ac9.jpg][Image: ee6f7942cd5f2ae270dbf82b35116c93.jpg][Image: a83e357424eb865e240ac7795c89956e.jpg]

Last couple of weekends I didn't get much done. Bad weather, and other obligations that needed my attention.
I did bite the bullet and knock out the prep grinding. Horrible job.

Last weekend I removed the cup holders and test fitted the instrument panel.
