Asking for prayer again.
I'm going back to work Monday. I still have a floater that stays I the way at times, but I can see. I'm functional. Not to mention grateful.

Asking for prayer again.
Just a quick update: I worked that Monday, and by midday Tuesday I was seeing more damage to my retina.
I headed immediately to my surgeon, who did more laser work.
He sent me home to lay on my back. Aside from check ups, that's what I've been doing, and am still doing.
I go back Friday. I'm hoping for a good report that will allow me to go back to work again.
It's been a struggle, and it's not over yet. We're taking this in baby steps to maintain at least one good eye at a time.

COULD ALL THIS BE CAUSED BY WATCHING A WELDER TOO LONG??

No. My older brother went through the same thing years ago, and he has never welded.

I hope everything works out for you Mark. Much too young to lose your eyesight now.

RE: Asking for prayer again.
Quick update:
The laser work that was done is holding. I still need surgery to do a complete repair eventually. We are hoping and praying that my right eye will clear up enough that I can go without my left eye for a while. So right now, we are sitting on our hands, hoping it doesn't get worse, forcing surgery before my other eye is cleared up.
Thank you for your prayers. God has taken notice. The doctor said I am extremely lucky, but I know that luck has nothing to do with it.
