The 2008 steering column was too bulky to fit into the 1969 dash... and the 1969 steering column was too long for the 2008 unibody. So... chop, cut, rebuild, then repeat the process. Now to get the controls onto the reborn steering wheel.

I'm following this... West Coast Customs did this exact same thing. I can't wait to see the finished product!

Thanks, yeah been busy with other projects - trying to set aside time for it has been a pain.
