I just recently started working at Gander Mountain in Hattiesburg as a Firearms salesman about 2 months ago. So I'm curious what guns ya'll have. I just bought a new 30-06 yesterday. I'll get pictures up soon of it.

I've had a 30-30 since I was 12. It's a marlin lever given to me by my dad, grandpa, and uncle. It's affectionately been named the "deer slayer."



This year I guess being around all the guns at work made me want a new one. So I bought a Marlin bolt 30-06 used from a pawn shop. It was in excellent condition. It came with a simmons 3-9x50. Not a great scope but will get me through this year. It's equipped with Marlin's "Pro-fire" trigger, designed to compete with Savage's Accu-trigger, but functions more like a Glock trigger. I brought it to the shop yesterday, broke it down, cleaned it up, bore sighted, and got the trigger down to about 3lbs. Ready to shoot Sunday afternoon.

Ive got a few, all given to me,
a New England Fireams .243 single shot it has a centerpoint scope not sure what power
a browning belgium made 12 gauge and 16 gauge both semi auto, the 16 is at my papaws at the moment
and a winchester model 1300 pump 20 gauge

I've also got a mossberg 500 12 gauge with a 28" barrell
a Ruger 10/22 my grandpa gave me
and a smith and wesson 40 cal. pistol but its in the process of being sold and hopefully will be gone this weekend.

Not enough to list. Some bought, some heirlooms, some hand-me-downs. The coolest would be the combination heirloom/hand-me-down General Motors .30 carbine. It came with original bag, stocks, and bayonet. Synthetic stock has been put on so the original wood can be put away so the rifle could still be used.
