Ferd truck wont crank

if you need a timing light i have one, and i wasnt getting it through the carb it was getting in the tank from a broke vent tube and then making its way to the carb

I got the dist. Out today and I'm going to get it replaced due to the lifetime warranty it has why not put a new one in it!

O and the mechanical advance is rattling around in it when you shake it!

I hope its the problem!

That is good enough reason to replace it. How old are those wires. I have a feeling that they are due.

O they have been on there for a while.
as long as i have had the truck.

The dizzy is "supposed" to be here tommorow morning at 7:30, so that means ill be setting up at the OOO-Orielly's at 7:25 in the morning.

Im pretty sure my grandfather is going to come over and help me set the time sometime tommorrow.

I hope that fixes it but i dont think that is the problem the more i think about it.

Its worth a try though.

Well me ant my grandpa a pretty sure the blue truck jumped time. I will have get it figured out for sure when i get the money to buy parts and all that. Does anyone know where to get a good timing set or where to start looking?

You should be able to pick one up at any local shop with gaskets for 50 bucks or so...get it done this week! Warm weather should let you work all week at night if you need to. You can't miss camp n ride!

Its gonna be the 25th of this month before i have the money to buy parts for it.

Looks like im going to miss it this time to.

Ill get to work on it as soon as i can.

When the truck is fixed and i paint the blue FORD on the tailgate white for balages request im going to get some white letters that spell out Found On Road Dead on the tailgate.
