Every thing has been going well working on this truck untill today.

I had a problem with a front hub unlocking.

And i broke the center plastic pos while i was trying to free the hub up.
The little pin that slides the gear back and forth on the track inside the hub busted the plastic around it and i had to leave the guts out of the hub until i find/build a new one.

The other kicker is the tar like stuff stuck to the inside the tank.
It has the pickup clogged up and i cant even get 100 pis to blow through it.

I need some info on where to find a piece for that hub and a idea on where to get my fuel tank boiled out or something of the sorts to get it running off the tank.

You might want to look at getting a new tank. Try Mill Supply or check the parts houses. It might be cheap enough not to mess with.

Mill Supply Doesn't offer the in cab fuel tank like my truck cam with.

Ill check the parts houses and see but i may have a idea on where i can get it boiled and coated to stop any future rust.

Not sure what im going to do right now.

Ive got to have it on the road by sunday with or without the factory fuel tank.

The guy i bought it from is going to mount the winch and gin pole for me Monday or Tuesday.

Ive got to drive it to Ellisville for that.

Got the winch truck out on the black top for the first time today.

Got it up to about 55 and it ran really good other then the lack of front shocks on the front.

Im gonna run it with the yamaha out board tank. Untill i can get the tank boiled out next week.

I cut the old bent trailer hitch off and the pintle hitch mount.

I got under the hood and was looking around and discovered the valve stem for the front air shocks.

Next its getting the tank clean and mounted, Fixing the front hub i broke last night, Two rear tail lights, a water temp gauge and some few odds and ends before i get back on the blue truck.

The winch truck is back at the welding shop today!

I got it up to about 55 on my road and it drove alright

I can defently tell a difference in a 302 with a auto on 35's, and a 390 with a 4speed and 35's!

The winch truck will pull off and leave for there unlike my blue truck.

I should have pictures of the winch and poles on the truck later on this week. It will be fully rigged out by the weekend!
