im having problems again guys dont have an idea what it is i was headed home last week and it started bucking real bad i stoped to check things out and it was running fine at idle but when i took off and got in 2nd gear it started again after stoping 3 more times and comming up with nothing i just rode it out the last time and it finally stoped and made it all the way home just fine after extensive research i have come up with nothing but i have determined it will run fine if the engine is still cold and it starts the bucking when it is warm any ideas guys

Temperature switch, either electrical or vacuum. Once the engine warms up, something switches or actuates by vacuum, causing those symptoms. I am just theorizing, of course.
Then again, you could try 601Cherokee's radiator cap replacement idea.
just kidding. I will keep thinking about it and let you know as soon as I have a brainstorm.
Any codes?

I don't know, specifically. Most vehicles have a switch, vacuum on the older ones, that turns on/off certain engine controls when the engine reaches operating temperature. I'm not saying that the switch would be bad, just the vacuum lines or components that are controlled by that switch.
I am no Ford man, so I am only thinking in general terms. For all I know, you might have vacuum controls for your heater/AC vents that are leaking.

I just look for cracked hoses and stuff like that. I have read that starting fluid sprayed around posible leaks such as carb base, will casue the engine to rev up if there is a leak that sucks it in. I have never done that myself, but it makes sense.

Good advice...works like a charm. Since most vac lines run into the intake, the ether will go straight ot the combustion chamber and change the rpms.
