RE: Thai Ranger
Little update.
After I hesitated finally bought the TLC. I hesitatated cause I didn't want "playtruck". I like use the weekend warrior truck in the weekdays too. I was proud when I stopped muddied near a BMW or an Audi.
Haha I hate the fashioncars.
But I had some problem with the Ford.
Every buliding was a rush against the Monday morning. Everytime. I use my truck all week and I drive 90-150 miles all day, and many times I have to run, I have to carry something. (diesel, hidraulic oil, injured hidraulic tube...). On the building area I have one or two 3.5 t truck but I can't bring that, cause every tools are on the boards.
Without my truck I can't work.
And this was just the "building" problem what will be when damaged (knock-knock).??
and the other:
Here the Hilux is the strongest, the Mitsubishi L200 and the D22 is the second on the offroad rostrum, and the B2500/Ranger are the last. It's fact.
The Ranger is excellent truck in the weekdays. A very good construction, but when you want to use harder I'm afraid will be some problem. The front wheel bearing, the manual transmission, DanaBanjo are lighter than the other pickup's. And the justice: I have problems with the aftermarket air locker. It was good lesson."Cheap soup is thin"
Don't get wrong, it's great truck in weekdays, just stay on the road.

And one more thing:
you know or not, but very difficult to build this type. Everything for the american ranger, almost nothing for the thai.
On the internet too. Impossible to find anyting. Every hit is the Us Ranger. (The thai has nothing special sign. The Nissan has D22, D40 code, the Hilux has MK3,4,5,6 ..etc, the ford has RANGER, That's all.No too simple)

oooupps btw I have credit on Ford, but the Toyota is mine.

So, that's why, I keep the Ford, but bought the TLC. The Toyota is very simple story. It has everything. Just have to pay..lol
I will refit the Mille Marker winch from the front of Ford to the Landcruiser, but that's all. The Ranger will stay in this looks.

Of course I won't sell. The one and only TOM from Mississippi is mine in Hungary...in Europe.Usflag

I hope my writing is clear.

It is tough to push a truck to limits on weekend when you have to depend on it for weekdays.
It is nice to have 2nd vehicle to play with! Even if it is TLC.

I'm just now getting to read this thread. Very nice truck even though it is a Ford Poke... do you have any pictures or anything about your roof rack? I like the look of it. Did you build it yourself or buy it?

It's a very light truck. Never will be 300-500.000 miles rig.
It hasn't got any heavy 4x4 ancestor like the Patrol for the Nissan pickups, or Montero for the L200 (here), or LC for the Hilux/Tacoma.

I think this was the last minute when it was faultless, and sold it without guilty conscience.

I hope it will works well, cause..guess who will be new owner?

A little town's fire service. Will be a patrol truck.
Rare when the red colour is lucky.
