Good fishing camp location - DanHolmes - 27thApril2018 Anyone know where is a good location to drive in and pitch camp on a good fishing hole in the area. Maybe off the end of a trail or forest road. Thanks for the info. Sent from my SM-S820L using Tapatalk Good fishing camp location - Brake Weight - 30thApril2018 Any wildlife refuges near you that have a decent size river passing through it? When my brother and me were little our dad would sometimes take us canoeing a few larger, local creeks. We’d stop and set up camp on a sandbar along the way. Coolest thing ever as a kid. Trolling all the way with my 3’ Zebco and never catching anything big enough to eat though. RE: Good fishing camp location - fun in dirt - 30thApril2018 There's a spot like that around Greyport end of Grenada Lake- end of old Hwy 8 at Yalobusha/Yazoo River - when it gets way down & dries up some (must dry a lot if going in truck); definitely not right now. Not sure it's legal to camp there, but not sure it's illegal either; nobody would probably even know if just for the night. If somebody did stumble up, just offer them a beer & you'd probably be good - LOL! Good fishing camp location - DanHolmes - 30thApril2018 I duck hunt down in water valley I guess is north for a lot of you here gonna try set up a fish camp there on what's called bear cat break. Some flooded timber and open water mixed. Great spot for a small flat bottles m boat or kayaking would not run anything over 10 or 20 hp there water depth varies. Anyone interested I'll put it together to camp and fish not sure what kind of trails or roads there all I have ever done is duck hunt. Really nice campground & a large lake w/ lots of fish! It's a federal park not a state park. https://www.recreation.gov/camping/davis-lake-campground/r/campgroundDetails.do?contractCode=NRSO&parkId=70545 |
