As some of you know I've been home sick, well tonight I got a change to get into the shop for a couple hours to try and finish up some orders. Well one of the bumpers I needed to finish up some TIG welding on was the GluckStadt Fire Departments Truck. They asked for an extended bumper that would push the front bumper out 18 inchs and if I could do it cheaper than what they could buy one for ($3,300 !!) and I could =). Of course like all Fire Trucks it has to be Aluminum Diamond plate. I can't weld Aluminum for nothing....Laughing1Laughing1Laughing1

So once I got the main support done it was time to cut out the actual diamond plate and start piecing it together. Here is what it looked like off the truck, the metal plate its sitting on is the actual extention.

After I finished getting everything like it should I could weld in the rear support and it was ready to go. Here are the pictures on the truck. I know we have a number of fire fighters on the board so I thought they would like this build. Enjoy
