The secret mod is revealed!!

Special thanks to Cowboy for the steel for this pproject, and to Rangertoy for acetylene and a helping hand at the onset a few weeks ago.

I have put this off long enough. Finally, a real front bumper.
Strength? Not a problem. This is schedule-80 2" ASTM A53. Yes

LOVE IT!!! BTW whats up with the tires? The Buckshots look like they are new because of the blue lettering on the inner side of the tire but the tread dont look super new PLUS I thought you were running another brand tire???
Like it! you the man Res!
Hey res if them are new tires what you do with the 2 off tha front?
Tha bumper looks great!
looks good!!!! is it just me or does it slightly resemble a mustache?
looks good rez does youre truck have a BL or just torsion crank and UCA's
those tires look bigger than mine
Lookin good Res.
I noticed the tires, too. I thought you were running Nankangs or something before. Is that your hitch cover on the ground in the last pic? It's so reflective it looks like you photoshopped it in!! Nice looking bumper, too. Is it just welded to the stock one, or what?

I waited until the last minute to order my tires and could not get the Nankang Mudstars on short notice. I bought a pair of nearly identical Interco Maxxis Mudder Buckshots.

One of the old fronts is now my spare. It replaced an oddly-worn spare that I would hate to have to run on the street.
The other one developed a buldge in the tread, so it has been retired. (Pardon the pun.) I run 33-12.50 x 15s.

Torsion crank only. Running 33s with trimmed and reflanged fenders.

Yeah, that's the receiver cover. It is stainless steel. I pulled it out and stabbed the winch back in for a pic, then swapped it back for a while.
You watch, now, someone will call me because they are stuck and I will have to go all the way home and get the winch first. Laughing
