Not that 38 is significant.  It just struck me that the old Nissan is quite old.  It was built in February of 1986 in Tennessee.
I bought it is very bad condition in April of 2005.  That is also the year that I joined Mississippi-Mud.com

So, I have owned the truck 19 years so far, which is half of it's life. 



   

When I try to tell the story of this truck, I don't know where to begin or which story to tell.  It has such a rich history.
My boys and I have had so many adventures and have met so many amazing people because of this little truck. 



So many stories.  And y'all are part of so many of them.  RIDE ON, my friends!!!

I've found that my life is often simpler to stick with the devil I know.
New or used, there is a learning curve that takes time. As long as I can get parts easily and affordably, I'll keep going.
When some Nissan parts started getting rare, I swapped it over to Chevy, so there's that route.

Yellow Jeep is a 2001, bought it in 2008.

Nicholas drove it through high school, now Sarah is about to start driving it.
