After a little test fitting I got the rear bumper tacked in place with the extra plate to make it appear to have 1” tabs.

Drove it home for the first time Saturday. It’s the greatest distance I’ve been in it so far and seemed to do well other than the open y-pipe, exhaust leak and tune needing to be tweaked again. My mom had to snap a picture of me, so first portrait with the ragged thing.

Got the rear bumper painted that afternoon and installed lights.

I don’t have any of the other lights wired right now but I did wire the tag light into the existing tag light harness.

I talked to the exhaust guy yesterday should have exhaust on it the first of the week.

Not a whole lot has happened in the past couple of months but I’ll fill y’all in on the progress.

I had part of the exhaust ran. I had my exhaust guy add in 4sets for factory silverado flanges so I could easily take the exhaust out if need be.

T-case crossmember done.

Started cutting front shaft down to size.

Had the guy that tuned the engine back out for some more tuning on Saturday. He got it dialed in a little more than it was. I drove it a good bit this weekend. The tires are bad out of balance, even with beads in them. It still cruised at 70 pretty good.

Did a little flexing this afternoon at work.

Knocking things out slowly but surely.

Exhaust finished.

Cutting factory front f250 shaft down to size.

Finished product. To bad it didn’t work.

The 05+ superduty front shafts use a 1350 joint. Working angle on a 1350 joint is 15°, I had it in a bind at 20°. So I went to plan b, 1410 rear superduty shaft.

Had a friend turn the weld off. Much easier than a grinder.

Getting everything trued up.

New 1410 yoke on the d60 and transfer-case, new U-joints and installed.

Not to much left to do.

Let’s play some catch up. As some of you know the sprag broke in my transmission so I had it rebuilt. Not even gonna lie, I don’t know much about transmissions so I won’t say to much about that. This is the day I brought it home.

After I got it home I took it out and for testing. I noticed quick that at low speeds creeping around my trans temp would get uncomfortably high so I decided to mount a remote mounted trans cooler. Derale cooler fan combo, nylon braided lines and -6an fittings the whole enchilada.

Once I had an idea of how I wanted to tackle this I ordered parts and went to cutting metal for mounting brackets.

Test fit
[Image: 29511ec5765d22e072d828459da65cba.jpg]

Little paint to make it look good.

I went through the bed with -6an bulkhead fitting for a more cleaner look. I’ll take a close up picture of them and post tomorrow. This is cooler mounted and upper lines made and installed.

Lower lines from transmission to bed.

Not perfect wiring but it’ll work. Using 4 gauge jumper cable wire to run from battery to junction box to power the trans fan and any other gadget I may add later.

That's a serious cooler. Maybe it could mount over the inner fender to free up bed floor space.

I thought about mounting it flat to the toolbox.
