Finally got the jeep out of the driveway dropped it off at a friends shop we are doing floor pans,cutting out rockers and boxing them in, TJ flares, rear quater panel guards with L.E.D. tailights, making my doors removable, putting offroad lights on the a-pillar, Ford 8.8 4.88 gears up front with aussie locker and much more to come....

Sounds like you got your work cut out for ya on this one nick. Good luck to ya. Just one question though. Why do you want to put an 8.8 in the front? I know that it's strong for a lighter vehicle but a turd is still a turd no matter how you look at it. That's what they call my bronc at the shop lol.

The ford 8.8 Rear is stronger than the Dana 44 rear even though it has c clips

Im putting the 8.8 in the rear and I eventually wanna do a super 8.8 kit which gets rid of the c-clips

The 8.8 is a strong axle. It also has plenty of after market. I've used my 28 spline hard more than once with no failures.

the 8.8 is similar in beef to a 44 and is a great easy swap + u get discs - i think u need 1 inxh spacers to match stock width

nah aint worried about it cause I heard when I do the super 8.8 kit to it, it will fix that
