New project Ranger
I recently traded my toyota mud bog truck for a 90 Ford Ranger XLT it needs some work but I think it will make a good trail rig. Right now it has a 3 inch body lift and a 6 inch skyjacker suspension lift. I got to finish putting the motor in and do some body work. Some of my ideas are: new axles D44 front and 8.8 rear 4.88 gears and locked, 35 inch boggers. When the 2.9 gives up want to drop a 302 in it. I am also planning on building front and rear bumpers and sliders. I need some more ideas.

The body looks considering what it went through, a couple of years ago the owner at the time rolled it while driving it down the road Yota Bogger popped out alot of the damage and put a better bed on it before he got rid of it. And YES i am considering exocage

if you're going to the trouble to swap both axles you might as well go full width with a d44 and 9" that way you won't have to deal with mismatched lug patterns unless you use a full width 8.8
