My latest and greatest upgrades
A while back i found a York 210 R a/c pump off of a 76 Ford pick up for my OBA compressor, and a Saginaw steering pump from a 90's model E-150 with a FI 302. The bracket is the same so I pulled them off at the same time. Here is some of my build.
Here you can see the Saginaw steering pump and the York 210R a/c pump
[Image: DSC03423.jpg]
Since the hoses from the pump to the existing steering box didn't match, I had to modify the pump a little for it to accept the old C2 power steering pump hi pressure outlet screw type thingy
[Image: DSC03437.jpg]
Here you the diff between the two outlet valves, the one on the left is from the saginaw pump and the other is the POS motorcraft.
Just checking to see if there is going to be any changes in belt spacing
[Image: DSC03444.jpg]
Everything looks good there so time to get started on the compressor here it is a York 210R. The only difference between the 210R and 210L is the suction side is on the left for the L, and the right side for the R. You can mount these pumps at 90* or 180* on it's suction side.

Here is the mount that I fabbed up. It ain't nothing fancy but it will hold.

A few pics of the compressor mounted to the bracket

All that's left to do now plumb it and get some power to it but it's all lined up nicely with no vibrations

Oh yea I also purchased a new clutch for the compressor from a heavy vehicle repair shop since i didn't want to use a double pulley v-belt system

Next on the list is a snorkel I'll be putting that together this weekend I'll keep y'all posted.

Yea this compressor is a 100% duty cycle. I could run just about any tool straight off the line.

Well I'm getting a little antsy, started on the snorkel today

Items used:
2' of 2" PVC $2
1 2" x 45* $1
1 2" Y pipe $3
1 3"x2" coupler $5
10' of 3" pipe $11
1 3" 90* $4
pipe glue $4
primer $4
1 3" 45* $3.50
1 3" 60* $7.50
Total: $45.00 so far

Typicall under hood shot with the air intake lines off
[Image: DSC01167.jpg]
Test fitting the 2" pipe in the intake hose. Fits like a.......glove
[Image: DSC01169.jpg]
Cut some small pieces to fit it all together. I used a 2" Y pipe with a 45* for the short side to make one length
[Image: DSC01175.jpg]
Since a 2" pipe all the way won't do any justice I increased the intake to a 3" pretty popular for this type of snorkel
[Image: DSC01178.jpg]
Well this is how it sits for now. I haven't glued anything just yet still just in the mock up phase I'll do some cutting tomorrow. It looks pretty good so far. This next part is where I need to be careful at.

Well after about a week or so of trying to get the bronc to start back up at the exhaust shop; I finnaly got it home. It turned out to be the TFI module under the distributor that was keeping it from working. Well any how I'll post some pics of the completed snorkel after they get done down loading.

Ok here are the last of the pics
Green really helped out alot on this build. I'll have a beer for a tonight since you don't drink. Thanx alot Ben Beer
Took the bronc and my idea to an exhaust shop this is what they built for me two 2.5" in and a 3" out
[Image: DSC01198.jpg]
Ben had already cut all the pieces so I just had to glue them together. I love plug and playYeah
[Image: DSC01200.jpg]
Here you can see the route that it's going to take with the fasteners already in place
[Image: DSC01201.jpg]
Just a mock up to see if it's going to look good
[Image: DSC01203.jpg]
Glued it all together and checking for clearences

The steel Y looks perfect. That should deliver full flow. Good job on that.
The whole thing looks very functional. What will you top it with?
