Ben, made me some plates that I can weld to my subframe, or I can bolt to the unibody. If you look on the tire in the pic, you can see the plates, and pipe for mounting the sliders. Of course, I will have to move my exhaust. Which I want to do anyway. My tire rubs the exhaust where it is.

i'd say the sliders are going to mount with the tube and plates that are laying on the tire. as for the rear bumper since it has recovery points on it i would have liked to see the mounts tie in to the stock hitch mounting bolts. would be alot stronger but it will probably be ok the way it is

OK. Didn't see the other material before. Good deal. Might want to put some angle on the standoff tubes, too, and bolt it to the pinch seam between the rockers and the "frame rail".

I was going to put some pinch seem mounts but I did not have his jeep here to make sure everything was perfect. I did not want to add them and they be in the wrong spot.

I did think of using the reciever moints but If you notice the D ring mounts are centered between the 4 bumper mounting bolts, This will be enough support for the rings. With 8 mounting bolts the bumper will be stroing enough. I looked at murf's and is after market rear and it does not use the reciever mounts, they look weak any who. From what I have seen most after market bumpers don't use them, going on other pro's bumpers it must be sufficient. If I would have had the jeep here I would have used the reciever bolts because I do tend to over strengthen my work. If its worth doing, its worth doing right. This is my first XJ bumper so it was a learning lesson. Thanks Cory.

Interesting fact. his stinger is DOM. This is the only way that thing is strong enough to keep it up. Hahahaha

Unfortunatley not. I have to get the exhaust moved for the sliders, and I have to cut off the old bumpers and figure out how Im going to make my leaf spring mounts work. Hopefully, I will have them installed in the next couple of weeks.
