Ideas for the TJ
Here is my vision.

I want a rig as capable as the 4Runner, but looks stock.

Or looks mildly built at least, since I can't get away from some kind of lift.

Throw your ideas out. I have a blank canvas.

3"-4" suspension lift with flexible control arms (not bushings at both ends); tube fenders front and rear; 35's; lockrite, aussie, or detroit in the rear; selectable locker in the front; bumpers front and rear with tire carrier; sliders; undercarriage skidplates...that oughta just about do it.Rock Should go anywhere you want, and some places you don't.

you could do something similar to paul's rig. he has a 4" rockkrawler longarm kit, bellyup skid, rock sliders, tube fenders, crusher corners etc. [Image: 100_0713.jpg]

Very similar to what I was recommending!! You can still do pretty well with a high quality short-arm kit, though, if you want to save $1500!! Long arms are awesome, but costly.

Pretty much settled on 32 inch KM2s for tires.

Would a 2 inch budget boost clear those? Trying to keep it as low as possible.

it will clear them but you'll have to extend the bumpstops or they'll rub alot when flexed out. my buddy danny had a tj with budget boost and a 2-3" body lift and his 33s would rub on the flares up front

but with a budget boost and a small body lift a 1" motor mount lift and a hi- clearance skid you'd have a pretty decent small wheeler with good clearance

No, that won't work. I don't look good in a bikini.

She doesn't look that fat, must be some really soft springs on that YJ.Jumpy

I'm looking at the Rusty's budget boost. It's got bumpstops.

What would the motor mount lift do for it?

I understand the t-case lowering kit for better driveshaft angle, will the motor mounts help with this also?
