I actually did that. I was 18 at the time. I had fixed up an old van and bought new chrome rims and new tires for it. It was Friday night when I got them mounted, and I was stoked about showing off my new bling.
The right front wheel had a tiny leak at the seam that ran across the rim. I figured I could use a torch and coat hanger to seal it. Turns out that chrome conducts heat away like crazy. I had to hold that torch on there a long time before I could form a puddle.
The next thing I knew, the tire was buldging. I quickly rolled it over to the garden hose and started to cool it off. BAM! the sidewall blew out, and I was screwed.
I guess I deserved to ride around with one stock wheel as punishment for my vanity, impatience, and stupidity.

Had it been a tougher tire, I probalby would nave been badly hurt. I was lucky that it was just a light truck tire that buldged before it blew.

[/align]I've been making these for a couple years now but could never get the cost down enough to sell in bulk. These are 30 bolt CNC Plasma cut weld in bead locks. Fits in the lip of the rim. Here are the basic gear tooth model.

Basic 15" are $225.00 + Shipping (Set of 4 weld on rings and 4 outer rings)
Basic 16" are $230.00 + Shipping (Set of 4 weld on rings and 4 outer rings)
Basic 16.5" are $235.00 + Shipping (Set of 4 weld on rings and 4 outer rings)
Basic 17" are $240.00 + Shipping (Set of 4 weld on rings and 4 outer rings)

For ANY custom sets add $20.00 for the set.

First question that may come to you mind is about the holes. I have an indexing jig that I repunch all holes in the iron worker so they are perfect. You shouldn't need to redill anything :grinpimp:

Some vehicles have corner markers that do not flash. They typically use a two wire bulb with no provision for a flashing lamp.

Making your non-flashing corner markers flash is easier than you think. By cutting one wire and adding a jumper, you can make your marker light flash alternately with your turn signal.
The way it works is this; you cut the ground wire to the marker light, and splice it into the turn signal's power (flashing) wire, it then grounds through the turn signal lamp. Now, every time the turn signal lamp energizes, it cancels the marker light. When it de-energizes, the marker light grounds through the turn lamp. And so on, and so on.

Here you can see the ground wire cut, and a jumper connected. No need to do anything more with the cut end of the ground wire, because it is just a ground wire.

Kim and I have started doing some serious planning cause it's creeping up on us. I have a few months left over here, and we're getting the things we can get done for right now. Our day is going to be a special one, it's going to be a week before christmas so it'll be decorated up pretty good.

Right now we are planning on around 200 guests, it could be more it could be less. Her church is setup for 350 i believe, so we should have plenty of seats available.

I'd like to invite all of you to our wedding. Res, i hope you didn't think you weren't going to be invited, If i could get a head count that would be great. Eventually i'm going to need your addresses to send the formal invites, but i'll get those when i come home. If you think you can make it go ahead and mark your calendar for Dec 18th, we planned on that Saturday because during the week would've been hard for everybody, i think it'll work out good this way.

If you got any questions let me know. Thanks guys.

This is a solution for those who find the chatbox more of a bother than an asset, and for mobile users who are looking for simplicity.
To change themes, go to UserCP, click on Edit Options, then look in the lower right corner for the drop-down box that you choose your themes from. Choose yoru theme, then click "Update Options" and you are done.
well i parted the truck out when i went to college and vowed to put it back together when i got out of college and grew up some. i decided i was gonna buy another old legendary mud truck from the madison county area. but the truck was sold out from under me and was parted out. luckily i found the truck before it was totally stripped and was able to buy the remains. (thanks chris-highend2007) and i am in the middle of putting both trucks back together as one truck.
ok now for the build up part. i am using big blacks frame after i strip off the stuff i dont need and then im gonna build it from there.

got the body off the frame and now its time for lift and other mods im gonna do.

the truck had a 6 inch suspension lift and 3 inch body lift on it. the truck rode good and would flex like crazy for the limited amount of work done, but i wanted more

i decided to do the 52 inch spring swap on this truck, which takes the rear chevy springs from a half ton truck and move them up front. the factory front springs are 47 inches long. doing this swap moves the front axle around 2 inches forward on the frame and allows for alot better flex and softer ride. also stock rear springs give 4 inches of lift up front CHA CHING

front spring hanger before

so i moved the shackle around 2 inches forward on the frame. worked out great. the shackles are from WRF thanks to Chris.
16" 1,200 CFM

It is very quiet, and runs perfectly. It can be set up as a pusher or a puller. It would make an excellent addition to a stock fan setup for someone who occasionally needs a little more cooling.
You will need a mounting kit, and possibly a thermostat switch and so on to install it in your rig.
