Not sure if these should go here or in the wheels section, but when I get back from Guam I'm going to be putting some weld on beadlocks on my rims. I could weld them, but I don't trust that I could get them air tight.
Does anyone know of a reputable place to get them welded up in the area?
I've done 3 sets (12 wheels) this year and none have leaked but not a fun job... A lot of it depends on how good the rim/plate fit together (the gap). I did 1 set and had to put a ton of wire in just to fill the gap, this get's the rim too hot IMO. The lip of the rim will need to be paint free, this makes the job easier IMO.
Want to do another set next year?!?!

Just get up with me when the time comes, if for some reason I can't do when you need it done I can sure give you some names of some good welders/people that could help you out around here.
