I have a Dana 30 and 35 in my 99Tj, im running 35x14.5 boggers. I have upgraded parts inside both axles though.

have you upgraded the shafts or what?

I upgraded shafts in the front and rear, added detroit locker in the rear. Also changed spider grears in the front. Changed to 488 superior gears. I say i did this, i paid jackson powertrain to do it. I will tell you the first time i tried to go cheap and just put gears in it and run it, it made it 100 miles and took a crap. Go ahead now and upgrade the shafts and change the carrier in the rear with locker or you'll be on the shoulder of the road quickly!
First trip to the gear shop was 1200 bucks, second trip was 1700.......Learn from my mistakes, go ahead and upgrade soon because it wont run long my friend! I babied mine and it didnt last, since the final up grade i've flogged the hell out of it while i was home and couldnt break it. The axle shafts have a lifetime warranty and detroit has a year on it i think.
I was a little worried after the final build of the rear axle, everywhere i went all i heard was pops and clicks, etc....come to find out that was just the locker, they told me it was a hard locker and it was gonna be loud, other than that i've had no problems at all. I've learned with jeeps that anything is possible, all it takes is MONEY!! I love the way the boggers look on my jeep, but it seems like i had to spend alot to get them under there.....

I went all the way with mine, while they're in there you might as well let them do it right the first time! Its a lesson i learned the hard way, figured i'd tell you everything i had already been through since you're gonna run the same size tire as me with the same axles! I will say this about the boggers, they're some bad a$$ tires and the ultimate test of your drivetrain! While they had mine i let them go ahead and replace all my ujoints and cv joints. Trying to save a buck with the set up we have will cost you down the road!

d35 won't handle 35" boggers. even with a super 35 you are pushing it.
you will also be at the limits of a dana 30 with tires that big and heavy but you may be able to keep it alive if you don't beat on it too hard. if you are just light trail wheeling without lockers you can probably run those tires with no issue. but with lockers are hard wheeling you will break stuff

X2 on rednecks comment. I am running 38.5x14.50s, 4.88s and I think the only reason I haven't broke it is because its still an open diff. I think if you wheel responsibly with the skinny pedal it should last a while. I dont know much about the D35 but have heard that they dont like large tires. I would go ahead and throw a 8.8 in the back and be done with it.

i'm kinda thinking about the 8.8, it seems like it wouldn't be a very hard swap in a yj
