My name's Brad. I'm a Design Engineer from Mobile. I have a 2005 Wrangler, 3" BDS suspension lift, 33" Mickey Thompson ATZ's, Rugged Ridge Rock Crawler bumpers fron and rear, Bushwacker fender flares, HID conversion Kit. My rig is my DD so I'm not too harsh on it. Right now I travel back in forth from Mobile to Larose, LA every week so my time is very limited. Looking to free some of that up now. This is a pic of my old jeep I'll have new pics this weekend. Doing a swap off of all my accessories right now.

Hey, I like you. You know enough to put up pictures before we even ask.
I, too, am a DE. (and an ME on my DE projects.)
I see the boy driving the Jeep; how many do you have and what ages?
I ask because alot of us have kids that go on rides with us. This group is very family-friendly. I have two boys 11 and 15 that always come on rides with me. The boys are teh primary reason that I got into trail riding.
We have a ride coming up at the end of the month that you might enjoy. We call it the Easy Ride. We would love to have you join us. You will find all the info in the Trail Rides forum.
Yeah my son loves the Jeep. I've got two little ones. My son will be 4 in Nov. and my daughter will be 2 in Nov. I'm definitely going on the "Easy Ride". It's part of the reason I joined. I saw that particular ride mentioned on the MJC Forum. It'll be me and my Dad. He just bought a brand new JK but he won't put it on the trail till after the warranty expires. LOL. So since mine is Semi Set-up we'll enjoy it together. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone too.
Well, I won't bother telling you about MJC since you already know about it.
Your dad could probably bring his jeep on this ride. There are some puddles that you have to go through, but nothing that can't be done on street tires on a stock jeep this time of year. All the other stuff can be bypassed. I want to say that it will all be forestry access roads. Nothing trecherous. Beautiful, though. If he is not against getting a little mud on the tires, he should bring it.
If you look at pictures from last years ride, you will see some deep water and such. The trucks going through that all volunteered to take those obstacles. That kind od stuff has bypasses. Nothing to worry about.
Welcome to MS-Mud.
Design Engineer for? I worked as a design engineer in thefork lift industry several years, but made a move into a manufacturing engineer position 9yrs ago. If I make any more engineering career changes before retirement, it will be back to design. Much more satisfying to me.

I work in the Shipbuilding Industry. Structure, Outfitting, and Equipment. Right now I'm down in Larose, LA at a company called North AMerican Shipbuilding. All last year I was in Wisconsin working on a Navy contract.
