The Jeep's new look:

A pair of brand new Sylvania Silver Stars and some black paint on the bezels while they were off.
I like the black bezels...looks great.
The information on the Grand Cherokee springs was incorrect. They are the same height as the Wrangler springs. They are made with a thicker wire (thicker than even the Rubicons) and have nine turns rather than eight. They did level out the Jeep so all is good.

Nice! that little bit of black paint makes a huge difference. great looking jeep!
Looking Real good!
Its coming on along!
So, I put my 4.56 gears in 2 weeks ago.
Suprisingly, power still seems a little flat.
So we'll be looking for lost horsepower today.
Other mods done with the gears were a Rough Country 2.5 inch lift. (no more spacers.) And RC quick disconnects.

We'll start replacing some basic tune-up parts.
Cap and rotor, coil, O2, and MAP sensor, and a new 42 tooth speedometer gear so the VSS isn't confused.
The electronic bits from Radio Shack are for another project that I'll discuss in another thread.
So why haven't we seen the Hummer on the trail?

It would be really cool to play with. It has the offroad package with factory selectable lockers.
However, it's Jessica's and she would stroke out to see a speck of mud on it.
All tune up parts are on. The cap and rotor were pretty worn most likely original. The O2 sensor had been cross threaded.

I couldn't get the new one to start on the threads. Luckily, there was another bung on the manifold collector. I just moved the plug to the old bung.
Test drive report shortly.
