no. i had rusty's inverted T steering on the mj and i hated it. any inverted T setup will have tie-rod roll which will give you a deadspot. the more angle on the draglink the worse the roll will be. the stock inverted y setup will give you better road manners than rusty's setup. i'd look elsewhere for a steering upgrade.
Skyjacker offers some upgrade parts for the tj steering, thats what i had to do to mine, i couldnt keep the thing to lined up. The first thing the alignment shop said "that damn lift kit, bla bla bla!", i honestly think he was just jealous, haha! But i ended up adding the dual steering stabalizer and two other bars in the front end, for the life of me i cant think of the name of those bars. Anyways, i ran it for a few weeks until i left with no problems. Before i added the stuff the front end would only feel tight a day or two, then was all over the road. Wish i could be more help, i do know the parts came from morris offroad in florida, i bought all my stuff through them.
Rusty's also has an upgrade kit. But at $140, that sounds a bit pricey.
Rough country has an upgraded tie rod, but nothing for the drag link. [/align]
I dont remember what i paid for my stuff, i bought all skyjacker and have been really pleased with all of it! Thats all over with for a while anyways, i've been busy buying baby furniture!!
I got Rough Country track bars coming.
Since I'm about to put the gears in, might as well upgrade some stuff while it's torn down.
I think I'll go with the RC tie rod, new TREs and a new stabilizer.
Might not be a bad idea to replace the ball joints too.
Getting ready for another Mountainside trip.
Hey Mike! Haven't seen much of you lately.
When I get done I want to check out Boggs and Boulders.
I ran an all Rough Country lift on Tinkerbell, and really liked the on and offroad manners! Man I miss Tinkerbell!
