I bought a J70.
2.4 turbodiesel, manual, without lockers.
Ranger will be the everyday truck, the Toyo will be the weekend warrior.
I don't like the weekend trucks too much, but near the work the "pimp" is hard, and i afraid to bruise the Ford. Every monday is workday.

Poor J70 is object lesson of the owner's negligence. Maybe you know the phrase from hungarian: " this truck was in war already"
Yes this landcruiser was there..
But I trust in my mechanic's genius, and the Toyota's toughness.

Why you don't have modell in US? Cause it has black smoke from the diesel engine? Ok, but it has 26 mpg. What is important?

Only Landcruiser we have is the Lexus copy...and I think they have been discontinued for a few years.

I like them too, but they are too costly here, and the diesels are rare. The gas engines....here? lol

I put down the LC in my buddy/mechanic garage.
Full service, all oil, filter, t-belt.
He had a good body ironer. He will has hard work:

I have to buy 2 seat to front. Now something tripe is in. Maybe I will hunt Pajero/Montero seats (-1999) it has weigt snsor suspension, or something french seats. They are the king of the comfort.
