I was just given a single burner butane stove by my mother. It is in a nice plastic case and all. Never been used.

It uses the butane bottles that are about the size of a spray paint can.
I have seen them on Ebay and at Gander Mtn. but was wondering where I might find canisters in Laurel. Hunting supply perhaps. Any ideas?
Ace hardware
Hmmm. I don't think we have an ACE in Laurel anymore. Good suggestion, nonetheless.
res wal-mart has them if not try extreme outfitters
I never noticed them at Walmart. Are they in the hunting section, or the camping section?

Anyway, I will check. Extreme Outfitters is close by, also.I forgot about them. Doh
Didnt know if yall had an ace in laurel or not, when all else fails i look at ace. Dont feel bad though, we dont have an ace in polkville either, nor do we have a red light.....Come to think of it, there isnt a redlight in smith county. I sure miss the country!
There used to be and ACE in town. I just don't see many of them anymore.
I am guessing they are not the same as the green ones we use for the trail cookouts?
No. These are skinnier, and use a bayonette style twist-lock end. My yellow stove uses the adapters to adapt to the green LP bottles. This stove is designed to fit the bottle right in the housing, so the adapter won't work unless I also use a bulk hose. That kinda defeats the portablility of it.

I should take a picture of it. It is a sweet little stove. It is packed in the shed, or I would take a picture now. Undecided
