We landed in Andrews Air Force base here in Maryland. In the morning im off to Benning for my final evaluation, funny thing is, a Mississippi Guard C-17 brought me home from Germany. Definitely not a coincidence. It's good to be home.
Welcome back. Will they be able to do something for your hand here in the states?
We'll see. Apparently there's more to it than just my hand. The doc in Germany diagnosed me with brachial plexus, in plain dummy terms, my back is jacked up. My spine is crooked, and my right shoulder blade sticks out further than my left. As far as my hand going numb, he said there's a nerve around my neck that is/was getting pinched. I feel fine now, no pain or numbness, even in my back. Everything is good, so we'll see what the doc in Benning says, im hoping he'll mark me as an outpatient and send me on to shelby so i can de-mob and go to the house.
I got jet lag like crazy, i've been all around the freaking world in the past 3 days.
Welcome home. Hope your nerves in your neck are OK. I had a run in with mine that didn't go too well.

The 183rd has been voluntarily activated since 05 running these air evac missions. Glad we could give you a ride. I hope you get everything straightened out in short order and back to the house.
