well we made it to mt. Fuji. ok ok to the bottom cause it is not climbing season yet there is still the ice pack on it. Man it was like a 4ish hour drive; Tokyo traffic is not like the game tokyo drift by any means. Breath takin view, plus I found a couple offroad places. Dunno if I'll go back cause 4hrs and havin to fight that kinda traffic after a good day wheelin might just suck. Course things are so expensive to get a hotel would suck, I reckon if I had a buddy I would just go to outdoor recreation on base and rent some campin gear. We also went through a drive through zoo. That was pretty cool also. Pic will come once I can get them off everyones cameras.
come on with the pics

It looks like Mt. Fuji had a chunk blown out of the side of it. I never noticed that before.

Leave it to an off-roader to cross the log when there is a steel foot bridge in the background. Laughing
that's right gotta represent. lol

I went there for Marine Corps cold weather training in 1995 and froze my A$$ off...beautiful place though. Do you know the name of the route you took up the mountain?

we never drove to Tokyo, but we took the train. Think it was like 6 hours...Rapongi District!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hahah ropongi (shinjiku is great also), leave it to a marine. lol. we were right by camp Fuji on 289 I think I'd have to look at the map. yea gotta love traffic here. It's a pain in the ... to get on the train with family (way crowded must of the time) not one for staninding 4ish hrs)
