I bought one of these the other day, kinda liked how compact it is and that the main body of the cb can be hidden under the dash. Any of you guys ever had one of these? Also picked up the antenna bracket that mounts the antenna behind the drivers side tail light, any of you head any one of these? Guesss what im lookn for is problems that any of you know of with these two things, what i may be getn into and if i need to go another direction. All input welcome!! Thanks

Correction to title of my thread, its a Cobra 75WX-ST Hide Away radio, not sure how i got my wires crossed and put that other stuff in there?? Still wanna know what you guys think about that radio and if its worth a flip or not

I've heard good reports about the 75. From what I have read, you will enjoy it AND that antenna bracket.

Not alot of places to mount cb in a jeep, i looked into the bracket to mount on top of dash beside steering wheel, and also looked at bracket that mounts from footman loop, just not crazy about all that wire and coax where it can be seen or trying to hide it on a loom. Only thing i missed ordering was an external speaker, dont think i'll hear that little speaker on the handset over my boggers on the highway!

I cant remember who did it, but one of you guys did the mount between the rollbars with some stuff from lowe's, i liked that but my bikini top wont let me do that, dang bikini gets in the way of all the good stuff!
