Due to the software change (vBulletin to MyBB), the profile information did not import. Here is what I need everyone to do:

Click UserCP in the header.

Go to the Menu box along the left side.

In the Your Profile box, select Edit Profile. Fill in all the apropriate information in the fields, then click the Update Profile button at the bottom.

Go back to the Your Profile box and select Change Avatar. The good news here is that this board will automatically resize the picture FOR YOUR. Be sure to click the Change Avatar button.

Go back to the Your Profile box and select Change Signature. Update your signature. You may use [img] [/img] tags to show pictures. Please do not add promotional links to buisnesses without the permission of the administrators/owners. Links to your home page or other favorite forum are cool, for example. When finished, click Update Signature.

Go back to the Your Profile box and select Edit Options. Here you can update your options by filling in the information fields. In the Date and Time block, Change it to GMT -6:00 if you are in the Central time zone. That will set the clock at the top of page to your current time. In the Other Options box, for our subscribers, you will find alternate color themes for the board, such as Default, and Sippi Hole. Sippi Hole is a nice, light coffee theme. (I am still tweaking it.) More themes will come shortly, as I get time.

Sig error message says character limit, but I am nowhere close. Is it counting spaces also? And do the pics occupy spaces? There is still space left?

I had the same issue...I think it counts spaces, and every character in the /img link, too. It tells you how many characters over you are, so you don't have to go deleting too much.

Yes. What he said. It is intended to keep the sigs from being huge. Nobody likes a huge sig when it is repeated 10 times on every page of a thread. It is best to use a shallow, wide pic and a line or two of text. Keep it simple and elegant.

601Cherokee, have you tried putting your pic and texy side by side? You can make a banner of sorts using paint. import your TOTM banner, and shrink it down, then add a background with the text on it. Crop it to size. When you get it how you like it, save it as a .jpg and post it in your sig.

I had planned on doing just that, Res...just have been too busy getting ready for the camp-n-ride. I'll get it sunday or monday.

The colors of the little person next to your avatar are really close to the same making it hard to see if the person is on the forum at the moment.

I thought the same thing about the little person. I will change it to green when online.

In the bottom menu bar, all the way at the bottom of the page, click on "Return To Top".

I see a REPORT button at the bottom of each post. You do not?

The default settings subscribe you to threads that you reply to. Change that in your UserCP under Edit Settings.

Let's hear what some of the others think. How about it, others? Worth programming?

I can't get my avatar to "take" for anything. I've shrunk it down to tiny (100 x 75) on photobucket and it still says it's too large, what am I doing wrong here??
