I've heard rumors that Ford is coming back out with the 7.3L diesel, anybody else know anything?
Just did a little research and found out it is a 6.4L twin turbo.
I don't know if they are gonna put the 7.3 out again but i sure hope they do! The 6.0 sucks! Its a smaller motor and sounds like its about to blow up when you put a load on it.
Try the dieselstop.com and ford truck enthusiasts. That has been beat to death. I think it is going to be the 6.4, same family as the 6.0 but ford will be doing the programming this time around. My understanding is that ford let IH do the programming on the 6.0 and that is where most of the problems were at.
I thought that Navistar (i think) is thier main diesel supplier. I could de wrong I've started drinking already.
