Am I the only a/v techie on here?? Ain't nuthin' like listenin' to some tunes (or watchin' some vids) while bustin' through mud.
I have made one small mod to my factory sound.....added in a set of satellite tweeters....made a world of difference. gonna add a little bump in the next month or so.....I love full range sound....better clarity.

Stock 1990 Cherokees came with a cassette player and 4- 5.25 speakers. That aint gonna work. Upgraded the fronts to 6.5" and the rears to 6x9's and a brand new Pioneer Cd head unit. 6x9's are ok, but need a little more low end. Sub in the near future maybe?
hummmmm.......depending on your settings on the Pioneer, the 6x9's should be kickin' .......but if you just want that little extra bump, go with a couple of 8" subs with a 300 watt amp....... add a couple of satellite tweeters to the front to bring out the total sound. $20 at radio shack.....cheapest upgrade I've done so far.

yeah Rougue Im pushin 40 watts to the 6x9's with the head unit, but I was in highschool during the 4 - 15's in the trunk and 2000 watts era, so 6x9's just dont cut it.
hehehehe....now we are talking........ mild bump or WILD BUMP??
or......dare I say...... make the sweet little ole lady down the road wet herself from a mile away BUMP????
dont know yet, knowin me, it will start mild and end up rattlin that old ladys dentures out.
