Thought I would post this since it was a pita for me to change. For anybody who has a Ford Ranger with a fuel filter like this here is how you change it.

I think they make a special tool for that. It makes the job alot easier.
If you have the metal round clips they make a special tool. This one has the different color clips that if you don't know to push them in you will never get it off because if you try to pull them out, like you use to have to do on the old clear looking clips, they will never come out. I tried pulling them out for hours then finally pushed on them to make sure they were in, because I was just going to take it somewhere to get it done, and the line popped right off. But if you don't know to push in then you can go threw a few beers trying to get it off!
Well you know they gotta change stuff to keep it difficult.
Yeh I guess if it was easy to work on trucks then I wouldn't enjoy it so much.
They make it like that so the place i work for doesn't go out of buisness(sp??)lol

you can also go to any auto parts store and but a cheap set of plastic tools that will do the job as well. I cant remember right off hand but there are either 5 or 6 on a black rack.
Dang-it come on if you tell him this the place i work will go out of business.j/klol
