Devil_Mutt

Well Yesterday, and today FireCop and myself broke down and turned a wrench or two. Started the weekend by changing out the rear main seal on my Cherokee. Look at the first two pics. Not a fun job at all. Have to drop the whole front suspension, just to get the pan out.

After that was done, FireCop brought his new toy out...1990 Toyota. Pulled the hubs out, cleaned um up real good cause it wouldnt go into 4 wheel drive, stuck um back in, and got that fixed. Of course, we had to go test it out.

After that we called it a day, only to start again early this mornin. A buddy of ours who lives here in Bentonia has a 93 Grand Cherokee. Well he wants to come ride on the 22nd also, so we stuck him a 2" puck lift in. Wasnt too bad. Front was a bit of a P.I.T.A., but the rear was a snap. Damn 4 coil suspension. Anyway, got it done and ran it up the hill too. Here he is as he came to the top.

fordguy

didn't mean to sound like i was knocking yota's and jeeps..... just defending the thornchickens..... honestly, they are very good tires in mud and sand.... a little on the noisy side but hey, aren't they all???
Thanks For The Invite Mutt And Fire Cop. You Know I Just Live Right Down The Road (bout 2miles). And Fordguy I'm Kinda With You On The Thornbirds I've Never Owned Any But I Know People That Have And Have Seen More Bad Than Good But I Think Its All About The Type Of Mud You In.
