Well not much going on in this section, so, I'll do a buildup thread on the FORUNNA.

First, some before pics.

Much to my surprise, my 2005 Tacoma did a fine job of towing it home.

I got it just before the Lockitup Novice run, so I only had time to lose the rear bumper and the front valence.

Next the top came off, and got seat covers.





Those are good for about 5 extra horsepower for sure!
And chicks dig'em!

I installed a 1" body lift from Sky Manufacturing. Can't really tell in the pics.

Then I proceeded to booty fab a winch mount. I got a 10 or 12k Mile Marker Hydraulic winch on the cheap and had to adapt it to fit.

I got 2 pieces of angle and bolted them to the tow hook points on the frame. Then welded them in place, (attempted to anyway.) Then set the winch plate on top and bolted it down. I also put 2 bolts in the back of the plate into the lower bumper mounts.
I moved the bumper up by bolting the lower part of the bracket in the upper hole. With the body lift it matched up purdy good. The bumper is only good for holding the blinkers anyway.

Now I have 2 problems.
The upper toggle switch on the winch hits the bumper. I'll have to trim it.

I don't have the adapter kit to hook it up to the power steering pump.

Oh, yeah!

I left one bit of tech. I had the rear diff welded.

Lincoln Locker!!! Yeah!!!!

Looking good so far. What's next?
