Full Version: Which Trails Do Y'all Prefer?

Several members of MS-MUD have been on some of the trails that I use in DeSoto.
I would like to get an idea of the type of trail / obstacle that y'all prefer. With information like that, I can try to improve our group rides.
Please take a moment to answer my poll, even if you are not yet familiar with these trails.
Don't know any of the specific trails. I just went by the generic descriptions.

Click here for the map and info on the last two rides. This whould give you an idea of what to expect.

I have already started a thread for the next ride. I am planning on Sunday, September 17th. I will post the particulars of the ride in a week or two, but start getting ready.

Get your rig reliable and consider installing a CB if you don't already have one.

Keep your CB antenna down low, like on the bumper. You don't need good reception.

Make sure that you have solid tow points (hook, hitch, etc.) front AND rear.

Ask me anything. I will be more than happy to answer your questions.

Have you seen the latest run pics?
Hey! That's not too far.

CB, Check.

Tow points, hmmm have to work on that.

Would there be a safe place to park a tow rig and trailer?

Gotcha' covered. Wink You can head up a little earlier and unload in my yard.
Be advised that we do run on the street to access the forest. Your rig needs to be street-legal. We usually run 50mph on the highway for several miles to and from the forest.
It's legal. (mostly.P ) I haven't got an inspection sticker on it yet.

I was just kicking around the option of trailering it IF I can make it for that ride.
I like trails that my big ole truck can go threw and not get dented by low lying trucks! or just trees.

Bigger is not necessarily better in the trails.....
