Nissian and Renault are the same companies and controlled by the French. Dodge is in the same boat as Nissian but with Dalimer Benze, Germans in controll. Toyota and Renault/Nissian are in talks with GM so who knows. Drive what you like.
I personally like Toyotas! I don't really have anything against any other 4x4, but my parents ended up getting a Toyota 4x4 and they have over 300,000 miles on it, and it was an overall good truck. I just always liked a Toyota and that is what I ended up with.
