If you have a tires size of greater than 34s here is a couple of sites to read about beefing up the axle. Its taking the 1/4 inch bearings and putting the 2inches apart wit dana 44 outers.

If you got a Ford, ususally TTB, dont go larger than 35's....the3TTB got a C clip, which can be made better with a valve spring.....consider strength, get a set of D50 Stubs....31 spline...Get to Fullsizebronco. com, do a search, Daves90 did a replacement, got pictures and stuff....
I am about to be running 35's on the ttb dana 35 with all the little goodies such as dana 44 outers , spicer5-760x u joints and some other stuff.Hey dont you have a FSB what axles are you running?

I am running Dana 44 TTB up front and 8.8 rear, got 3.55, Limited slip rear and open front....when $$$ comes, gona think about 4.56, detroit in the rear and a lock right up front.....unless I do a SAS, which is doubtful.....35's is the max.....bottom line, what do I need bigger than that for.....you guys cant keep up with me as it is.....

lol i'm running the dana 35 with a lockrite in it and open rear.
I guess I'm in trouble than.....I'm an inch oversized

on my TTB (36" IROKS)
na actually your tire is a 35inch tire most all tires are an inch shorter than what they say so actually i will only have a 34inch tire.
