So um what has everyone been doing seeing how the board is dead.
so u need to do something exciting, and get every one jump started! been busy myself
i have to do two school talks this week with my trusty partner ALEX, u know tell all the
boys and girls "JUST SAY NO!" by the way Alex is a five year old Belgian Malinois, that is trained to detect drugs.(If u didnt catch it, I am the K-9 officer for Yazoo county also!)
cool our k9 officer just retired, and is going into the insuirance business.
To much free time on his hands. I must find some work for him to do so he will not be board. Big Grin
Too much free time on your hands, whats that? Both talks this week will be on my off time, but Alex loves the attention from all the kids. And if I can make a positive influence
on any of the kids its well worth it!
I am going to a welding equipment expo in Atlanta Tuesday and Wednesday. I will be checking out robotic welding equipment, mostly.
I have been trying to meet with the law enforcement dude out in the forest to make sure that he is cool with the riding that we do. We spoke on the phone one time and I got a very positive feeling from him. Essentially, if we don't do any "damage" such as mud bogging, or use any blocked roads, then we are cool.
I have met and spoken with non-officials who basicly said the same thing.
I will keep trying until I meet with him in person. We plan to go over some maps and get a clear understanding of each others intentions. That should eliminate any misunderstandings and keep everybody happy.
If all goes as planned, I can develop larger groups on the Laurel Rides.

I have been doing a lot of stuff around the house that I have been putting off until cooler weather. I have also been doing some tent camping with my boys. I plan to do some motorhome camping soon, also.

I will be travelling to Iowa next week to learn robotics programming. This is the start of my move to the newly-built Research and Development Center at my company. Very exciting and busy times, indeed. All I think about, however, is wheeling. Big Grin
I could use one of those robots to work on my jeep while I watch.

Are you trying to talk to the FS or the Game and fish officer or both? I thought the Game and Fish officer was the man on a management area.
I'm in the gulf this week, been a little busy. When I'm home, been staying busy with my bedliner and accessory bussiness. Finally got the cab put on the 78, hoping to get to work on it some more this week.

How is the bedliner bussiness doing? I don't under stand why your weeks out there are so short and mine are so long. Big Grin
It's going pretty good, been staying pretty busy with accessories, more than bedliners here lately. Seems like everyone is wanting bug shields, ventvisors, and nerf bars. Got a couple of liners to do this week, so I guess the liners will pick back up for a while. I did a hydro-test truck last month. It took almost 40 gallons of liner, (normal truck bed takes 3 or 4 gallons) Glad when it was done. Supposed to do another starting in Feb. Wish I was a little busier, but making a little spending money. I think that you have it backwards about the shorter and longer weeks.Big Grin Let me know if you need any accessories for the Cheep, I'll try and beat anyones elses price.
