I know that this ain't place for it but close enough. What is the maind difference between the standard cut and reverse cut gears aside from the direction. Is the reverse cut for the front end of a vehicle? Or is it for the 4x4's that have the pumpkin on the passenger side? Give a bit of a clue on this. My brain is thinking and it may be a good one or maybe not.

Reverse cut gears are for high pinion axles.
NO reverse cut gears are for the front and standard is for the rear if i remember correctly.
markyb is correct. reverse cut gears are for high pinion axles.
reverse cut would be if ya wanted to move a rear axle to the front, or for flipin yer axle so the pinion comes out top instead of the bottom.
cool thanx guys that comes in handy.

If you guys have any more infor about that let me know or send me a link so that I could read about them.
