What's the difference betweeen the two diffs? Aside from the fact that they have different numbers, both are IF fronts in Fords and came in 3/4 tons and one tons.
the dana 50 ttb is only a little stronger than the dana 44. they both use 30 spline shafts. the dana 50 has a little larger ring gear and bigger hubs. from what i've read its not really worth doing the swap. heres a write-up http://www.fullsizebronco.com/forum/arch...13107.html the dana 44 also has much more aftermarket support.

I just read the forum or the write up. I don't even know if it is that much stronger? From what I can tell or read about the only different about the two is the ring gear, the u-joints, and the slip shaft (I think that's what it's called). Well I guess I'll figure something else out then. Thanx for the shot though.
