Bad fan clutch? (Do you have one of those?)
need a second electric fan i put mine on a switch so i can leave it on all the time when im playin
check your radiator hoses, they are made like a hose inside a hose:two layers and I have seen motors burned up because the two layers separated and the inner would collapse and prevent water from getting from radiator to suction of the water pump, it will not be obvious because the outer layer will look normal as heat will cause the space between the layers to expand{inner will collapse and outter will apear normal} the only real way check if this is the problem would be to replace the hose , another thing to check for would be a blown head gasket, cracked head or timing set incorrectly.
I have known brake hoses to do that. Interesting...
