well i have a 6in fabeh 3in body and am debating on selling the 6in fabtech and putting a straight axle on my 1999 z71!
-anyone know people that do it for good deal an know what there doing?
-has anyone on here done it?
-would yalll do it? or would u think it would be worth it?
id do it, you can get much more lift and flex out of a straight axle, z383 on here has done it
yeah hunter has done it and is running 44s on his i think he has an extra spring hanger at his house he might sell you!
winder what it cost him? and if he did it himself
it was a kit he ordered from some guy in north mississippi ill get him to pop in and point you in the right direction!
yes, he did the sas him self.
I have a full width Dana 44 also if you need one.
This is Chris on her account.
someone told me to use a old ford front axle for sas. is a dana 44 a ford axle?
yes, what you are looking for is the drop of the chunk, pass. or driver. this is what matters. to make sure the frond D shaft lines up. Oh yea, youll need a full width axle.
let me know how it goes I have been wantin to do that to my 2000 GMC I have been quoted 1000 to 5000 bucks to have someone do it
