You need to buy a piece of hardware called a 'capture device'. I got a cheap one at Office Depot for $80.

I'm assuming you are using firewire? If this is the case, do you have the proper drivers, a good cable, etc? I do a bit of editing, pc work, networking, etc on the side, and I'm near the res from time to time. If you are still having this issue, I can drop by and see what I can do.
I went to buy a fire wire and was told by a guy at Circuit City that my camera doesn't take a fire wire. Not sure what I need any more. It's just very aggravating to take a bunch of video and finally just delete it because it starts just taking up memory.
save the vids on a diff card/disk and u won't have to delete them
