So I know what some of you do, but thought it will be a good topic. Never know when someone could help you out. I donÂ’t think I could, unless you need some breaker or transformer parts for your sub-station. Haha

I work at Siemens as a buyer for service and aftermarket. ItÂ’s a good company to work for IMO with good insurance and retirement. Which both mean more to me the older I get.

So what do you do for a living? Smart replies can be deleted.
Railroad Machinist (aka diesel mechanic) for Canadian National Railroad... I get paid to play with Cho Cho trians...HA
During the day I write computer software for Hospitals and Lawyers. They dictate into my system and transcriptionist then type it up. Thats my paying Job

Actually you might can help me. HAHA I teach Instrumentation (PLCs, Control Systems, Electronics, etc.) at Pearl River Community College as well as I am the Program Director for the Utility Lineman Technology program we just started at the school. I actually might need some breaker or transformer parts. I will get with you later about that.
I do absolutly nothing, And still don't get paid. I wonder why, shouldn't my intelligence be enough?
I am a steel fabrication design engineer, and an AWS certified MIG welder, but am currently in the field of robotic welding. You have to be accomplished at both engineering and welding to do the robotic welding part.

Yesterday morning on the way to work, I was thinking about starting this exact thread!! I just got too busy at work to do it. Cool...

Anyway, I work a MMI Systems/CCS/Dental Interiors. We build commercial cabinetry for hospital pharmacies, dental offices, and general commercial applications (military barracks, dormitories, etc.). I am in production support, which means when the CNC machines screw something up, I have to fix the programs so it doesn't happen again. I also get to design and implement new products.
