the PO put a lift on my yota. he used blocks in the rear and if i'm going to keep it lifted i want to put lift springs on it.
i measured the blocks and they measure 3.5" and the smallest lift springs i've found are 4" so do i just get the 4" springs and see if they are right or am i looking in the wrong places for springs?
Dont know how much you want to spend but you kind find all sorts of information about springs at
http://www.ttora.com just a tip though search before you post.
Check out Deaver not sure on there website,
http://www.wheelersoffroad.com, or maybe even downey off road.
there is a grea spring place out of co i think the name is alcan spring they will hook ya up with what ever ya want stiff and bouncy or roll over with all tires on the ground
yeah, i've heard good things about alcan springs
they are based out of grand junction bout an hr from where i use to live all the locals had there spring word done there
i guess the question is, what springs do i need? the blocks that they will replace are 3.5" tall so should i just go ahead and get 4" springs or will it look goofy? i don't know what the original lift is supposed to be
get the 4" ones. if the back sits a little too high then crank the t-bars some. or throw some heavy stuff in the back of the bed for a while
X3 Trucks should sit higher in the back. I don't care for the "leveled" look.
