there's a guy that i was going to buy hydroboost and 1 tons from that is selling a CUCV so i think i might hop on it.

i was going to buy the hydroboost for $100. then i was going to get the dana 60 for another $1000 and i might as well get the rear end to take the 4.56 gears out of it and put in mine, that's another $200. so, so far that is $1300. he then told me that i can buy the whole truck from him for $1600, he said it doesn't run, but i figure what's another $300, then i can sale what i don't want and make alittle money back. oh yeah, the truck does not run...

but, what kind of demand is there down here for mid 80's chevy parts? will i even be able to sale the parts?

I might need some s-10 or K5- blazer parts.

the parts that i'd be selling would come off of a 1 ton military chevy.

some of the parts would work with the blazer

you could always haul the rest to the Pull-a-part and get a little back

I didnt have any probs selling my factory parts when I replaced everything on the burb.

thats a good price for a cucv. get the parts off of it that you need then take the rest to a scrap yard. you'll get 3-400 for it even without the axles

i haven't decided if i want to keep the trans and rebuild it yet, just incase i blow up my 700r4 again.

i want to take the doors and make half doors out of them. maybe take the hood, fenders, and tailgate (for when i get a soft top) also.

i just have to find someone with a trailer that's big enough with a winch

should i buy it for $1600?
